A strange incident occurred during the Monday, December 23 edition of WWE Raw, also known as Monday Night Raw, as Ghanaian wrestler Kofi Kingston was snubbed by his mother.

During an edition of WWE Raw, Kofi Kingston, who was being booed by the crowd, turned to his mother for some solace.

Instead of embracing her son, Elizabeth Sarkodie-Mensah verbally scolded him and walked out.

Embarrassed and in disbelief, Kofi Kingston kept calling his mother, who walked out of the auditorium in anger.

The mother’s anger, according to multiple reports, stemmed from the rejection of wrestler Big E from the New Day group.

Big E, who had been ostracized from the group, made attempts to reunite with Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods, the other members of the New Day group.

Instead of welcoming him, he was rejected by the group, which infuriated wrestling fans.

In reaction, Kingston also cut his mother out of the Christmas photos he shared on December 25.

“I hustle for my last name, not my first. Merry Christmas…to us,” he shared on social media.
