    A Nigerian grandmother has gone viral after a TikTok video captured her refusing to open her door for her grandson, insisting that he did not clearly identify himself.

    The clip sparked widespread reactions across social media, with many viewers relating to the humorous exchange.

    In the video, the grandson is seen knocking repeatedly, expecting his grandmother to let him in without hesitation.

    However, the elderly woman stood her ground, calmly explaining that she could not open the door because he failed to properly identify himself before knocking.

    The short clip shows the playful but tense back-and-forth between them, with the grandson growing visibly frustrated while the grandmother remained firm in her decision.

    Many online users have praised the grandmother for her cautious approach, noting that her insistence on proper identification reflects the rising concerns about the security state in the country.

    Below are some of the comments;

    “One thing about grandma, they don’t insult you as a grandchild; it’s your father or mother that will receive the insult.”

    “Grandma didn’t even panic, she’s just following protocol. We all need this energy in 2025 abeg.”

    “This was funny, but also sad. We’ve reached a point where even family members have to be careful.”

    “Grandma was so beautiful when she was young. Even at her age she is still Pretty.“
