Legendary Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo has downplayed claims by some fans that Argentine player Lionel Messi is the Greatest Footballer of All Time (GOAT)
In an interview, popular YouTuber, Mr. Beast told the Al Nassr forward that one of his friends believes that Messi is the GOAT.
Ronaldo, who seemed surprised by the question, quickly laughed and questioned why the person thinks Messi is better than him.
This is how the conversation ensued;
Mr. Beast: Nolan is the guy on the other end over there, he thinks Messi is better! He calls it soccer and he said Messi is the GOAT.
Ronaldo: Who said Messi is better than me? (Immediately burst into laughter)
Football fans and pundits have had differing opinions as to which footballer is better between Ronaldo and Messi.
Some argue that with Messi winning the FIFA World Cup in 2022, and Ronaldo not having one yet, it makes the Argentine the best player of all time. However, others believe otherwise.
