Ghanaian-born, US-based gospel sensation Enoch Ansah, popularly known as Paappa Yawson, has challenged the notion that gospel artists should live modestly.

When asked to share his thoughts on the often-debated topic of whether gospel artists should embrace luxurious lifestyles, Paappa Yawson passionately defended the idea, stating, “Who created all these luxurious things you see? Isn’t it God? So, my God is not poor, my God is a rich man, and I am representing Him.”

His statement drew applause from supporters who see Paappa’s confidence as a reflection of the evolving perception of success within the gospel music industry.

Paappa Yawson arrived in Ghana to a hero’s welcome on Monday, June 30, at the Kotoka International Airport.

The celebrated gospel artiste, who is signed under Zagazaa Empire Records, was received by his team in a grand reception that drew the attention of onlookers and fans alike.

The welcome entourage included City God, a fellow label artiste under Zagazaa Empire, and sensational actress Efia Dragon, both of whom were present at the airport to show their support and solidarity.

In an exclusive interview with Voice TV at the airport, Paappa Yawson revealed the purpose of his visit, “I am here to work on some new projects, and I’ll also be embarking on a radio and TV tour to promote my latest single titled Ensu Mma Me.”

The gospel minister also disclosed an exciting collaboration in the works with none other than King Paluta, the hitmaker behind the viral song Aseda.

Paappa Yawson’s visit promises to ignite a wave of spiritual and musical energy as he prepares to engage with media houses, collaborate with local artists, and touch lives through his inspiring music.
