According to 247Bet, Anthony Joshua has the most valuable punch in boxing, worth a whopping $218,879, according to a new study into boxing’s most efficient earners.

The full research from 247Bet established which active fighters were the most efficient earners by comparing the total amount of prize money earned against the total number of punches landed by 25 professional boxers.

The study comes as stunning news emerges that Anthony Joshua will finally take on Tyson Fury in the ring. The boxing journalist, Gareth A. Davies, announced via talkSPORT that the Fury-Joshua fight has been “agreed.”

Anthony Joshua was crowned first place in the study, with each of his punches that successfully landed on an opponent earning him a staggering $218,879.

The Watford-born heavyweight has banked a massive $501 million over the course of his 33-fight career, during which AJ has landed 2,289 punches on his opponents.

Tyson Fury, while ranked below AJ in third place, has still earned a more than impressive six-figure sum of $187,403 with each of his 2,458 career punches, totaling $460.6 million in career earnings.

These startling sums of money go to show that a much-anticipated Joshua vs. Fury bout in the future could be more valuable for AJ, since his punches are already $31,476 more valuable than the “Gypsy King’s.” What’s more, these numbers would surely only increase if and when the bout goes ahead.

Meanwhile, Joshua’s most recent opponent in the ring, Jake Paul, was named the second-most efficient earner in boxing. The “Problem Child” has banked a remarkable $167.6 million in just 11 fights and has landed just 812 punches. This equates to earnings of $206,454 per punch for Jake Paul.

Elsewhere, Oleksandr Usyk ($136,580 per punch) and Deontay Wilder ($83,253 per punch) also featured in the top five most valuable punches in boxing.
