A young man froze and burst into laughter after seeing the portion of food his elder sibling served himself, instantly calling his mom’s attention to it.

In a chaotic but relatable moment, a Nigerian man revealed what his Mom did to his elder sibling after she saw the massive portion of food he served himself in a bowl.

His elder brother was either very hungry or just feeling bold, so he decided to help himself with a bowl of rice and stew large enough to feed several people.

When his mom saw the large quantity of rice in his bowl, she was instantly enraged and proceeded to playfully reprimand him.

She started lecturing him about wastefulness in her native language, lecturing him about selfishness, because the amount of food he served himself was enough to feed a small family.

Social media users reacted to the video positively, as many highlighted that this would be a core memory among the family members.

Others pointed out that the mum’s actions showed she had zero tolerance for nonsense especially when it comes to food wastage in such economy.
