American social media influencers, Duchess Dior, and her husband Shamarcus Carr, popularly known as The Frenchman, have become the focus of discussion following a disturbing incident that unfolded during their Facebook Live.
According to reports, on Saturday, June 14, 2025, the 36-year-old Frenchman and his 27-year-old wife, born Zaria Khadejah Carr, were engaged in a heated argument during a livestream.
The couple publicly accused each other of infidelity, with tensions escalating quickly.
Sources indicate that this was not the first time the couple had clashed publicly. Followers claim there had been numerous signs of a toxic and allegedly abusive relationship, including previous incidents where Duchess Dior was reportedly physically assaulted by her husband.
Infidelity accusations
During the Facebook Live session, ‘The Frenchman’ accused Duchess Dior of cheating during their marriage and further alleged that she had infected him with a sexually transmitted infection (STI).
“She went to the doctor, got on the table, and said, ‘I’m gonna get tested because you’re messing with these hoes.’ And the doctor said he was going to do the test… When the results came back, she had herpes. Nine out of ten, we have herpes. These are facts,” he claimed.
Duchess Dior strongly denied the accusations in real time, defending herself and refuting the claims made during the livestream.
The shooting Incident
Later that evening, around 9:30 PM, police responded to a domestic disturbance call at the couple’s residence. Upon arrival, Duchess Dior was found dead from apparent gunshot wounds.
In the now-viral livestream clip, she was heard saying: “He’s getting mad because he doesn’t like the truth coming out.”
After the alleged shooting, The Frenchman reportedly fled the scene in a black 2021 Dodge Challenger.
He was later located around 11 PM, having reportedly shot himself inside the vehicle. He was transported to a nearby hospital where he died shortly after.

Following news of her death, social media erupted with shock, grief, and outrage. Many expressed anger toward the husband, while others called for increased awareness and action against domestic violence.
“This is heartbreaking. Domestic violence is real, and too many people ignore the signs,” one user wrote.
Concerns have also been raised about the couple’s children, now left without parents. Advocacy groups and individuals are calling for support systems to be put in place for the children and for wider conversations around mental health, abuse, and online transparency in relationships.
