In a remarkable testament to her visionary leadership and trailblazing achievements, the Chief Executive Officer of Westec Security Systems Ghana Ltd, Mrs. Esther Boakye, has been named Woman of Excellence at the Ghana Executive Awards 2025.

The inaugural edition of the prestigious awards ceremony was held at the Labadi Beach Hotel on May 16, 2025, under the auspices of Globe Productions. The event celebrates outstanding leadership and innovation across Corporate Ghana, spotlighting individuals and teams driving transformational change in their sectors.

Mrs. Boakye’s recognition underscores her influential role in Ghana’s private security industry — a traditionally male-dominated space where she has not only thrived but has also set new benchmarks. Her award is a celebration of resilience, strategic thinking, and her commitment to sustainable growth and operational excellence at Westec Security Systems.

Receiving the accolade, Mrs. Boakye expressed deep gratitude and attributed the win to her dedicated team:

“I am incredibly grateful for this recognition. I dedicate this award to our entire team of dedicated professionals who work tirelessly to provide the highest level of security for all,” she said.

She further emphasized that the award reflects Westec’s unwavering commitment to professionalism, innovation, teamwork, and client satisfaction — values that continue to drive the company’s rapid rise in the private security landscape.

Under her leadership, Westec has established robust strategic frameworks and implemented sustainable policies that have significantly improved the company’s efficiency and client trust. The award not only honours her personal achievements but also reflects Westec’s broader contribution to advancing Ghana’s security infrastructure.

The Ghana Executive Awards aim to celebrate the achievements of department and functional heads across industries, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement within Corporate Ghana.

Mrs. Boakye holds an MBA with a specialization in Marketing from the University of Cape Coast. She is a devoted Christian, happily married, and a proud mother of three daughters.
