    The Black Starlets have wrapped up their preparations for the 2025 WAFU Zone B U-17 Championship in Yamoussoukro, Ivory Coast, and head coach Dr Narteh Ogum has expressed confidence in his team.

    Speaking ahead of their departure from Accra on September 15, 2025, after an intensive training and friendly matches at the University of Ghana Stadium Annex, Ogum stated that they will make Ghanaians proud in Ivory Coast.

    “We have had a very productive camp, and the players have shown great commitment. We are going to Côte d’Ivoire, determined to compete and make Ghanaians proud.”

    The starlets have been drawn in Group A alongside hosts Ivory Coast, Togo, and Niger.

    The two-time FIFA U-17 World Cup champions will kick off their campaign against Togo on September 20 at 18:00.

    With their subsequent matches being against Ivory Coast on September 23 and Niger on September 26, all at the Charles Konan Banny Stadium.

    They will next face Ivory Coast on September 23 and Niger on September 26, with both games scheduled at the Charles Konan Banny Stadium
