The Director General of the Ghana Education Service, Prof Ernest Kofi Davis, has reaffirmed the commitment of the service to maintain and strengthen the operations of the cadet corps nationwide through the promotion of patriotism and discipline.
Speaking at the swearing-in ceremony of the new National Cadet Board on September 12, 2025, Prof Kofi Davis said, “We shall work diligently to promote discipline and patriotism among our cadets and other students.”
He further assured stakeholders of the preparedness of the service to commit to professionalism to sustain the cadet corps.

“We assure management and stakeholders of our readiness to uphold the higher standard of service and to contribute positively to the growth and sustainability of the cadet corps.
“Together we will build a stronger foundation for the future of our young people and our nation,” he added.
