Defending champion Osleys Iglesias (15-0, 14 KOs) and world top-5 contender Oliver Zaren (19-0-1, 8 KOs) both made the 168-pound limit ahead of their unified IBF and IBO super-middleweight world championship fight tomorrow night, October 8, at Théâtre Capitole in Québec City.

Eye of the Tiger has, however, made an adjustment to the card, as a medical issue has forced WBC featherweight continental champion Thomas Chabot to withdraw from his scheduled bout against Spanish veteran Jose Antonio Sanchez.

Nevertheless, EOTTM will still set the Quebec record for the most championship bouts on a single card, with 9 titles on the line at Théâtre Capitole.

Indeed, in the co-main event, Québec City’s own Wilkens Mathieu, who was already set to defend his NABF title against dangerous Russian contender Vladimir Shishkin, will now also have the opportunity to capture the vacant WBA super-middleweight continental title.

Also on the card, Bas-Saint-Laurent champion Leïla Beaudoin will make the first defense of her WBA interim world title against No. 2 contender Brisa Alfonzo. Olympic medalist Imam Khataev will face former world champion Padraig McCrory. Dzmitry Asanau and Luis Santana will square off in the first 100% EOTTM matchup in more than five years. Trois-Rivières boxer Daylen Pepin will also be in action, as will Terrebonne’s Jacob Blais, who will face Québec City’s Yoan Trottier in a local matchup opening the card.

All 14 fighters still on the card also made their respective weight limits at today’s weigh-in. The official weights, as well as photos taken by Vitor Munhoz and Jeff Lockhart of Eye of the Tiger, are available (HERE) in EOTTM’s press folder. The #IglesiasZaren event will be streamed in its entirety on Punching Grace in Quebec, with the undercard airing on TVA Sports, while internationally, the card will be available on DAZN.
