Asante Kotoko suffered their first defeat of the season, losing 2-1 to Legon Cities in an outstanding match during week 6 of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League.

The match, held at the Accra Sports Stadium, marked a disappointing night for the Porcupine Warriors, who had previously enjoyed a strong start to the season.

Legon Cities opened the scoring in the 22nd minute through Albert Yeboah, setting the tone for a challenging match for Kotoko.

The visitors struggled to find their rhythm and had to wait until the 76th minute to equalize when Albert Amoah scored, bringing hope back to the Kotoko camp with just 14 minutes remaining.
