The game is a must-win for the Royals The game is a must-win for the Royals

Bottom-placed Legon Cities will host Aduana Stars at the University of Ghana Stadium on Boxing Day for their next Premier League fixture.

Cities are winless in their last three matches and will be eager to bounce back from last weekend’s 3-0 defeat to Nations FC.

This is a must-win game for the Royals, who are living precariously after accumulating 11 points from a possible 42.

It will be a huge relief for the team if they can snatch all three points against Aduana Stars.

The Fire Boys are three points richer than their hosts and have had their fair share of challenges this term.

They sit in 12th position on the league standings and are winless in their last four matches.

The Dorma-based side is still searching for their first win under new head coach Cioba Aristica.

Aduana haven’t conceded a goal since the Hungarian took charge, which is a positive going into Thursday’s game, but they are also yet to score in three matches.

Aristica could grab his first win if they can finish their chances against a leaky Cities defence that has conceded eight goals in three games.
