    Following the death of Ghanaian Highlife legend Daddy Lumba, his devoted fans in Australia are planning to hold a memorial in his honour.

    Although official details for Lumba’s One-Week Observation and funeral are yet to be announced, some fans in Sydney have revealed intentions to organize a version of the funeral locally.

    In an interview with ZionFelix during his visit to Australia, the passionate fans described how they received the heartbreaking news. Many admitted they were initially in disbelief, with the loss striking them deeply.

    They expressed their enduring admiration for the late musician, highlighting the profound impact he had on their lives even from afar.

    Since news of his death, numerous tributes have poured in for Daddy Lumba, a beloved figure in Ghana’s music scene.

    He passed away on July 26, 2025, after a brief illness at The Bank Hospital in Cantonments, Accra.
