The Founder of the World Miracle Outreach, Rev. Dr. Lawrence Tetteh, has urged leaders at all levels not to use the influence of their positions to victimize others.

Speaking on GTV Breakfast show, he emphasized that power is transient, and those who hold authority today must remember that they will one day leave office.

According to him, the essence of leadership is service, humility, and fairness not intimidation or retaliation.

Rev. Dr. Tetteh stressed that history offers constant reminders of how quickly the tides of leadership can turn. He referenced the passing of statesman J.J. Rawlings and the political transitions experienced by figures such as Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings and former President Nana Akufo-Addo, noting that their journeys demonstrate the impermanence of power.

He clarified that these examples should encourage current leaders to wield their authority with wisdom, compassion and a sense of responsibility.

He further noted that the mark of great leadership is not in how long one stays in power but in how positively one impacts people while in office. Rev. Dr. Tetteh urged public officials, political leaders, and institutional heads to build legacies rooted in integrity rather than fear or victimization.

By doing so, he believes Ghana can cultivate a culture of leadership that inspires unity and national progress for generations to come.
