    Management of Tonyx Hotel in Koforidua has expressed its heartfelt condolences to the family of a nine-year-old Trinity School pupil who tragically drowned in the hotel’s swimming pool.

    In a statement addressing the incident, the hotel’s management acknowledged the public concerns and assured patrons of their unwavering commitment to safety and professionalism.

    “We extend our deepest condolences to the bereaved family during this profoundly difficult time. As an establishment dedicated to the highest standards of professionalism, we want to assure all patrons that our safety measures remain thorough, robust, and consistent with industry best practices,” the statement read.

    The management emphasized that, at all relevant times, the hotel’s safety protocols and standards of care had been diligently upheld. They also confirmed full cooperation with the police and other relevant authorities to facilitate a swift and transparent resolution of the matter.

    “We remain steadfast in our commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment for all our guests and encourage our valued patrons to continue enjoying the quality services we have consistently provided,” the statement concluded.

    The tragic incident has sparked widespread conversations online, with many calling for heightened safety measures at recreational facilities.
