Swedru All Blacks head coach Kassim Mingle Ocansey has declared his side’s determination to defeat Asante Kotoko in their crucial upcoming league clash as the club battles to avoid relegation.
Speaking ahead of Sunday’s encounter, Mingle admitted the game carries enormous importance for his team, insisting survival remains their top priority. According to the experienced trainer, his players are fully motivated and ready to fight for all three points against the Porcupine Warriors.
“We must beat Asante Kotoko to survive. Kotoko have nothing to lose, but we are highly motivated and determined for this game,” he said in an interview with Max FM.
The former Ghana Premier League-winning coach also expressed confidence in his squad’s mentality and commitment ahead of the decisive fixture.
“I will give my best on the day, and I believe my players will show great character and determination on Sunday,” he added.
Swedru All Blacks are under pressure to secure positive results in their remaining matches to maintain their league status, while Kotoko head into the contest with less pressure despite their strong history and reputation in Ghana football.
