The head coach of Medeama Sporting Club, Ibrahim Tanko, has expressed his satisfaction with his team’s dominant 4-0 victory against Vision Football Club in the Ghana Premier League.
The Tarkwa-based club hosted the Week 2 opponent of the 2025/26 Ghanaian top-flight league campaign on Friday evening at the Stadium.
In what was Medeama’s first home match of the new season, the team ran riot over the opponent to make it two wins out of two games.
Speaking in his post-match interview, Medeama coach Ibrahim Tanko praised his players for executing the game plan to perfection, stressing that his side deserved the three points.
“Today we did everything right and we have our three points,” Tanko said while adding, “We have to concentrate throughout the 90 minutes, at some point we dropped energy and it’s not good.”
Following today’s big win, Medeama SC remain top of the Ghana Premier League standings with six points and six goals.
Up next for the Yellow and Mauve outfit, they will take on Karela United in Week 3.
