Ghanaian musician Belinda Akua Amoah, popularly known as Mzbel, has called on Ghanaians and residents of the Kasoa community to vote for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Speaking at a rally organised by the NDC in Kasoa on November 12, 2024, the ‘16 Years’ hitmaker noted that Ghanaians are tired of the NPP government and, therefore, urged them to vote for John Dramani Mahama.

Mzbel who is a staunch member of the NDC insisted that Ghanaians are not lazy people and it’s the NPP government that had failed to provide work for them.

“Thank you for coming out in your numbers from the starting point to the ending point. This shows that we are tired and fed up, we need change, and change is coming.

“Also this shows the people of Kasoa are not lazy like how the NPP is claiming. Supposed there are jobs in Kasoa, I am sure none of you here would go to Accra for work, so vote for change,” she said.

Big Akwes who was also present at the event further urged Ghanaians to vote for change.

“There is no violence in Kasoa as some people are saying. We are united so I am asking all of you to go vote for the NDC on December 7 and vote for change,” he added.

The two Ghanaian celebrities have declared their support for the National Democratic Congress.
