The head coach of Asante Kotoko, Prosper Narteh Ogum, has indicated that his team is poised to give everything to defeat Accra Lions in their midweek Ghana Premier League clash.

The Porcupine Warriors will face the Accra-based club on Wednesday, April 16, in an outstanding Week 22 fixture of the league campaign.

Speaking in a pre-match interview, Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum acknowledged that there is some fatigue within the team. However, he remains confident that his players are well-prepared and ready to secure victory against Accra Lions.

“There is still an element of fatigue among the players, but we have to be ready for the game on Wednesday and play. So we are prepared in terms of what we have to offer on the field. Tactically, we are ready.

“If you look at Accra Lions, they are a very good side. They are not in a good position on the league table, but they will be motivated. They will come to play and win to climb out of their current situation. We are also determined to play and win. It’s going to be a close game—very interesting in terms of who comes out on top,” Coach Ogum said.

Wednesday’s league match between Accra Lions and Asante Kotoko will kick off at 3:00 p.m. at the Accra Sports Stadium.
