WBA#10 welter Ruslan Madiyev (19-2-1, 7KOs) successfully retained his WBA Asia 147lb title when he scored a 7th round TKO over WBA Asia#11 Florent Dervis (15-4,10KOs) on Saturday, April 4, at World Siam Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
This was an impressively victory of Kazakhstani champion who captured WBA Asia 147lb title on September 21, 2024 and successfully retained his title 3 times. From the opening round, Madiyev wasted no time, going on the offensive and unleashing a barrage of heavy punches to Dervis. Despite being at a reach disadvantage, Kazakhstani continued his relentless attack, landing powerful blows on target. Dervis, meanwhile, tried to counter and fight back without backing down. Finally, the show ended in round 7 when French fighter began to show signs of being dazed, Madiyev seized the opportunity, relentlessly unleashing a barrage of punches. Forcing referee Pinit Prayadsub to stop the fight at 1.18.
In the other co-main event, Armat Armanuly (7-1, 5KOs) successfully retianed his WBA Asia 160lb title when he stopped WBA Asia#15 Kenan Guzel (6-1, 5KOs) in round 6.
The fight started with a close and fierce battle from the first round. Both fighters exchanged heavy blows without backing down. Armanuly, relying on superior basics, accurately looked for opportunities to land blows, while Turkish fighter fought back relentlessly, exchanging punches throughout the match. The fight ended unexpectedly in round 6 when Armat landed a powerful uppercut to Kenan Guzel’s jaw, knocking the challenger unconscious and crashing to the canvas, scoring a one-punch KO at 2:49.

WBC#33/ WBC Asia 160lb title holder WBC#33 middle Tarik Haddir (9-2, 6KOs) won a unanimous decision over Manish Sharma (7-6, 4KOs) in a 8-round non-title fight.
Throughout the fight, Haddir clearly controlled the game, relentlessly pressuring his opponent with powerful and accurate punches. All Scoring were 80-72.
Samatali Toltayev (7-0, 4KOs) exchanged punches with Hong Quan Dinh (12-3-1, 4KOs) in an exciting fight before he launched a big bodyshot which close the show for a full 10-count at 2:37 of round 6.
WBC Asia#5/ ABF 130lb title holder Arnon Yupang (20-5, 7KOs) dropped Cha Laung Laung (2-10-1) once in round 4 before he scored a 79-72, 78-73, 77-74 unanimous decision over Myanmar fighter.
Heavyweight Adham Zemour (1-0) scored a KO over Rawipas Kumsud (1-3-2) at 2:14 of the 1st round of 4-round scheduled bout.
