Ghanaian actor John Peasah, popularly known as ‘Drogba,’ has made a fresh return to social media after a video of him receiving healing at the Christ Embassy Airport City Youth Church during a crusade in Accra recently went viral.

The actor, who had been battling multiple health disorders and severe challenges, was spotted looking seemingly fully recovered.

In a video that has gone viral on March 11, 2025, Drogba, wearing a blue shirt, appeared vibrant and healthy while interacting with one of his colleagues who visited him.

His appearance online has since sparked reactions, with netizens expressing their excitement, while others are questioning whether he has truly fully recovery as it appears.

    Drogba’s struggles:

In August 2024, Drogba revealed that he had been battling several serious health conditions, which sparked widespread public concern.

He disclosed that he was dealing with sleep apnea syndrome, multiple debilitating disorders, and Stiff Person Spectrum Disorder, a rare neurological condition that causes muscle stiffness and painful spasms.

Also, Drogba disclosed that he had been diagnosed with GAD-positive cerebellar ataxia, which affects his coordination and balance, along with constant visual challenges, tremors, and dizziness.

    GoFundMe appeal:

Following the news of his health struggles, fans and well-wishers launched a GoFundMe campaign to raise $280,000 for medical treatment overseas.

Drogba had mentioned that the high costs of his treatment had drained his financial resources, prompting him to seek additional funding for medical care abroad.
