What was expected to be a night of celebration quickly turned sour for Ghanaian rapper Kweku Smoke, when his sleek red Corvette, valued at an estimated $60,000 reportedly got damaged after his electric performance at the Pent Hall Week Artiste Night held at the University of Ghana on Saturday, June 7, 2025.

The ‘Agyekum’ hitmaker, who was among the top-billed performers for the highly anticipated event, arrived in grand style in his luxurious red Corvette sports car.

His arrival in the car reportedly got many of the students admiring him to the extent that many of them took photos and videos of the vehicle before the show even began.

Sadly however, when the show ended, the 2025 Telecel Ghana Music Awards winner of Best Rap Performance and Hip-Hop Song of the Year for his track “Agyekum” could not leave with the car.

A video making the rounds on social media shows scratches and dents on the side of the car, reportedly the result of a collision with another vehicle.

The rapper, who was clearly unsettled by the situation, is seen in the video standing quietly at the scene as a crowd of onlookers surrounded the car.
