Black Stars midfielder Thomas Partey played a crucial role in Arsenal’s winning goal during the North London derby against Tottenham on Wednesday, January 15, 2024.

The Ghanaian midfielder regained possession for Arsenal with a brilliant tackle on Yves Bissouma, initiating a counterattack that was expertly finished by Leandro Trossard.

Despite uncertainty surrounding his future at the club, Partey delivered a stellar performance, playing the full 90 minutes in Arsenal’s 2-1 victory at the Emirates Stadium.

His impressive display earned widespread praise on social media, with fans and pundits alike hailing him as one of the best defensive midfielders in the world.

Following the win, Arsenal have closed the gap on Liverpool, reducing the points difference to 4 points.

The Gunner have 43 points after 21 games while Liverpool have 47 points with a game in hand.
