Manchester United suffered a heartbreaking exit from the FA Cup on Sunday, March 2, 2025, losing 4-3 on penalties to Fulham.

However, during the match, a special moment of sportsmanship unfolded as play was briefly halted to allow Manchester United’s Noussair Mazraoui to break his fast.

The match started at 4:30 pm local time, which meant the fullback had to start the game while still fasting in the month of Ramadan.

Although Mazraoui saw his side exit the competition, his performance for 120 minutes was incredible.

Overall, it was a touching gesture that highlighted respect for his faith and the unity within the game, making for a truly heartwarming scene.

With 33 points gathered in 27 appearances, Manchester United are 14th on the Premier League standings, leaving the Europa League trophy as the only accolade to fight for as they battle to turn their season around.

But Ruben Amorim’s men would have to come up against a resilient Real Sociedad side on Thursday, March 6, 2025.
