Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice caught up with Afrobeats sensation Tochukwu Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck, after the Gunners’ thrilling 5-1 victory over Manchester City on Sunday, February 2, 2025.

Rice played a pivotal role in Arsenal’s dominant performance, piling further misery on the defending Premier League champions.

In the celebratory atmosphere that followed, he linked up with his newfound friend, Odumodublvck.

Their friendship dates back to March 2023 when Odumodublvck paid tribute to Rice—then captain of West Ham—by releasing a song titled “Declan Rice.”

Since then, the two have shared several moments, including a memorable meetup at a London club.

A few months later, Arsenal and Rice returned the favor. When the Gunners signed Rice from West Ham, they unveiled him with a video featuring Odumodublvck’s hit song “Declan Rice” as the soundtrack.

Arsenal FC posted the video on their official channels, while the Nigerian artist took to social media to congratulate his friend.
