Duplantis celebrated his new record by sharing a kiss with his partner Duplantis celebrated his new record by sharing a kiss with his partner

Armand “Mondo” Duplantis once again left Tokyo’s National Stadium in awe, this time not just for clearing new heights, but for a moment of raw emotion afterward.

On Monday, September 15, 2025, the Swedish pole vault star soared to 6.30 meters, setting the world record for the 14th time and securing his third straight world title.

With the bar wobbling but holding firm on his final attempt, the stadium erupted. Duplantis, 25, had done what he said he would; departing Japan with a world record. The height wasn’t just a number — it was proof that he is in a league of his own.

But what many remember is what came next. He leapt from the pit, his face lit with exhilaration, and turned toward the stands.

Waiting there was Desire Inglander, his fiancée – a model and influencer who has stood by him since they met in 2020, often cheering him on from the sidelines of world meets.

Their embrace was more than a celebration, it was a connection forged through years of shared ambitions and unspoken support. Desire held him tightly, eyes shining as world records, spectators, and the roar of Tokyo faded behind them for a breath.

Then came the kiss: powerful, genuine, a moment where athletic achievement and love collided under the lights.
