A lucky cat has all of his nine lives firmly intact after seemingly using eyes in the back of his head to sense danger just seconds before a car crashed into a Sydney home.
On Sunday, an out-of-control car ploughed through a property on Nottinghill Road in the inner city suburb of Berala about 5pm.
Footage shows the feline Wah Wah sitting in his bed facing towards the camera and away from the oncoming vehicle.
Moments before the car crashes into the property, the cat’s animal instincts kicked in and he leapt from his bed despite not turning around to see the vehicle at any point.
The owners of the property rushed out after hearing a ‘very big bang’.
‘We heard a loud sound and just saw a car crash into our front yard,’ resident Cindy said.
The car narrowly missed the family’s pet as it veered off the road, turned on its side and crashed into the property.
After the crash, the owners of the home could be seen inspecting the damage as the car remained wedged against the house.

Emergency services arrived at the scene to free the female driver, 41, who had become trapped in the wreckage.
Homeowners have been left with thousands of dollars worth of damage following the crash.
The driver smashed into multiple cars and homes before driving into the cat owner’s property.
She was the only one in the vehicle at the time of the crash and was the only injured party.
The 41-year-old was taken to hospital and the destroyed car was later towed from the home.
Resident Peter Guo said he was shocked by the collision but thankful there were no fatalities.
‘No big injury, nobody died. It’s lucky,’ he said.
