Hearts of Oak coach Abubakar Outtarra had a heated exchange with a journalist during his post-match press conference following his side’s defeat to Asante Kotoko in the Super Clash.

Outtarra was visibly upset when asked questions he described as “unserious” and struggled to understand why a journalist would pose such queries.

In a video shared by 3Sports, the manager appeared triggered when an unnamed journalist questioned Hearts of Oak’s poor performance in the game.

“Excuse me, why would you ask me that question? The game was poor according to you. You said the game was poor, so you’ve made your judgment. Why are you asking me that question to make your point? I’m not a reporter. I can be there, but you can’t be here. Let’s be clear.

Tell me the team that has 39 points. Give me a name. When you come here, be serious. Prepare your questions before you come.”

The journalist followed up by asking whether the coach was satisfied with the result, to which Outtarra responded: “Do you employ me? Please ask me another question.”

Asante Kotoko secured a narrow 1-0 win over Hearts of Oak at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

The victory saw Kotoko leapfrog Hearts of Oak on the league table, climbing to 5th place with 21 points. The Phobians now sit in 7th place with 19 points.
