There was excitement at the Kotoka International Airport (KIA) as popular American streamer IShowSpeed arrived in Ghana as part of his ongoing African tour on January 26, 2026.

Ahead of his arrival, stunt riders stormed parts of the airport precinct in anticipation of the internet sensation’s entry into the country, creating a lively atmosphere that drew attention from onlookers and social media users.

The visit had earlier received backing from the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA).

Prior to IShowSpeed’s arrival, the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the GTA, Abeiku Santana, took to X (formerly Twitter) to express excitement about the streamer’s decision to include Ghana on his African tour.

Santana shared a flyer outlining a number of fun and cultural activities planned for the 21-year-old content creator, describing the initiative as part of efforts to ensure that IShowSpeed has a memorable experience during his stay in Ghana.
