A video of convicted Ghanaian preacher Nana Agradaa has surfaced online, where she was seen being escorted by Ghana Prison Officers after appearing before the Amasaman High Court.

In the video making waves online on December 4, 2025, Agradaa was seen dressed in a white outfit, with nose marks.

The preacher, in the less-than-1-minute footage, was seen being escorted by about six prison officers as she entered a white mini-bus.

Her husband, Angel Asiamah, who was also dressed in an all-white outfit, was seen following the prison officers.

    Why Agradaa appeared in court

Nana Agradaa appeared before the Amasaman High Court due to her ongoing case, where she has appealed to the court to reduce her 15-year jail sentence.

Her counsel, prior to the proceedings, prayed the court for a short adjournment when the case was called before a new judge.

He indicated that the defence would adopt the earlier proceedings rather than begin the trial afresh.

The case that landed Agradaa in prison and how it started

Agradaa was arrested on Sunday, October 9, 2022, following a series of public complaints.

The arrest followed an all-night church service held on October 7, 2022, during which Agradaa allegedly promised financial returns to attendees.

Several congregants later accused Agradaa of fraud, claiming that they were asked to give her money with the assurance it would be doubled, but received nothing in return.

Many of the victims shared their experiences online, alleging that after collecting their money, Agradaa simply dismissed them from the premises without fulfilling her promise.
