Bechem United midfielder, Kofi Tompuo, scored an incredible goal in his side’s victory over Asante Kotoko on matchday 10 of the Ghana Premier League.

After receiving a pass in midfield, Tompuo controlled the ball with his thigh before firing a looping shot a few meters from the halfway line, beating the goalkeeper who was caught off guard.

Ghanaians on social media have heaped praises on the midfielder, with some believing the goal should be nominated for the Puskás Award in the 2025 FIFA Best Awards.

The sensational goal, scored in the first half, turned out to be the match-winner as Bechem United ended their three-game winless streak.

Kotoko, on the other hand, suffered their third defeat in a row, highlighting their current poor form after a good start to the season.

Following the win, Bechem have climbed to 9th with 14 points on the league log, while Kotoko have dropped from third to 6th with 15 points after 10 games.
