Karela United have extended their unbeaten run at home in the ongoing 2025/2026 Ghana Premier League season after beating giants Accra Hearts of Oak.

The WA-based team continued their impressive home form on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at the Naa Sheriga Sports Centre in Nalerigu with a 2-0 victory over the Phobians.

A first half brace from striker Eric Antwi Konadu was enough to guarantee the three points for Karela United who were less dominant in the game against Accra Hearts of Oak.

Karela had 46 percent ball possession but two of the six shots they produced in the game resulted in the 19th and 44th minute goals scored by striker Eric Antwi Konadu.

Accra Hearts of Oak on the other hand were dominant with 54 percent of ball possession but couldn’t capitalize on any of the chances they created in the game.

Karela have now moved to the 8th position with 20 points while Accra Hearts of Oak occupy the 7th position on the Ghana Premier League table with 21 points after 13 games.
