Hearts of Oak manager Aboubakar Ouattara celebrated his 66th birthday in style on Wednesday, January 1, 2025.
Born on January 1, 1959, this was Ouattara’s first birthday with the Phobians, after signing a two-and-a-half-year contract with the club in February 2024.
Although the season has had its ups and downs for the Ivorian manager, Hearts of Oak’s thrilling comeback win against Accra Lions seemed like the perfect birthday gift, as his team now sits just five points behind league leaders Heart of Lions.
On his special day, Ouattara was presented with a birthday cake adorned with the Hearts of Oak emblem at his residence. He was joined by some of the club’s backroom staff as he cut the cake, marking a joyful celebration.
Hearts of Oak is currently in sixth place in the Ghana Premier League standings, with 25 points from 15 matches.
The team will be hoping to build on their recent win as they prepare to face struggling Legon Cities on Friday, January 3, 2025, at the University of Ghana Stadium.
