Nigeria thumped Ghana with a resounding win to qualify for the 2024 CAF African Nations Championship (CHAN).

The Super Eagles B cruised to a 3-1 victory in the second-leg tie in Uyo on Saturday, December 28, 2024.

Three first-half goals were enough to secure the home side’s win, despite Ghana reducing the score in the second half with a consolation from Stephen Amankwah.

With a 3-1 aggregate victory, Nigeria has qualified for the CHAN tournament for the first time in six years.

The 2024 CHAN tournament is set to be held across Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania in 2025.
