Ghanaian defender, Nicholas Opoku continued his impressive run of consistency in the Turkish Super Lig after delivering another solid performance for Kasimpasa in their 0-0 draw against Gençlerbirliği.
Opoku completed 90 minutes for the 16th consecutive match, underlining his importance at the heart of the defence.
The centre-back was composed in possession and reliable without the ball, recording 52 touches and completing 32 of his 40 passes, an 80% accuracy rate.
Defensively, he stood out with six clearances, helping to keep the opposition’s frontline at bay, and won 5 out of 8 duels, showing both physical presence and smart reading of the game.
His growing consistency and form continue to make him one of Kasimpasa’s most dependable performers this season.
