Liverpool’s bad run continued in the UEFA Champions League after being humiliated at home by Dutch giants PSV Eindhoven.
The English giants were whipped 4-1 on matchday 5 of the ongoing UEFA Champions League season at Anfield on Wednesday, November 27, 2025, by PSV Eindhoven.
In front of the 59,964 spectators in Liverpool, PSV secured their 10th victory in all competitions to move to the 15th position on the UEFA Champions League table.
A first half penalty from Ivan Perisic, second half goals from Guus Til and Couhaib Driouech’s brace secured the big away victory for PSV.
Dominik Szoboszlai got the consolation goal for Liverpool.
The defeat now takes Liverpool to the 13th position on the table with 9 points after 5 games.
Liverpool have now lost 7 of their last 10 games in all competitions.
