Premier League side Arsenal lost 1-0 to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) at the Emirates Stadium on April 29, 2025, in the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League.

The French side found the back of the net through Dembele in the 3rd minute, who nicely placed the ball on the edge of the post and beat goalkeeper David Raya.

The Gunners came back into the game strongly and created some decent chances, but could not find the equaliser to restore parity.

Trossard curled the ball but Donnarumma produced a brilliant save to prevent him from scoring. There were other occasions when Arsenal had better opportunities, but they were unfruitful in their pursuit of a goal as PSG’s defense remained resilient and resolute.

There were other moments when PSG had the chance to double their advantage, but unfortunately, Barcola and Goncalo Ramos’s shots were off the mark, while others hit the post.

The win gives PSG a slim advantage as they face the English side at the Parc des Princes on May 7, 2025, for the return leg to decide who goes through to the finals.

While Arsenal are hoping to stage a miraculous comeback in France, PSG are poised to protect their lead and seal the game with more goals as they aim to win their first UEFA Champions League title in history.
