Andre Onana impressed in his debut for Trabzonspor
Cameroon goalkeeper Andre Onana put up a spectacular performance during his debut for Turkish side Trabzonspor against Fenerbahce on Sunday, September 14, 2025.
The former Manchester United goalkeeper produced some magical saves in the game despite his side losing 1-0.
Onana was involved in the decisive goal, pushing away a long-range effort into a dangerous area, where Fenerbahce’s Sebastian Szymanski reacted fastest and teed up Youssef En-Nesyri for the winner.

However, he bounced back stronger in the match after his club played with ten men following a red card for Olay Yokuslu during the game.
Fenerbahce, with the numerical advantage, bombarded Trabzonspor with lots of shots and attacks, but the former Inter Milan goalkeeper made crucial saves to keep the scoreline at 1-0.
Post-match statistics show that Onana made eight saves to deny their opponents from scoring more.
