TI Amass athletes dominated the Zone 1 of the 2026 Inter-Schools in the Ashanti Region
TI Ahmadiyya Senior High School have made history in the ongoing 2026 Inter-Schools competition in the Ashanti Region after securing their 17th consecutive inter-co double, clinching both the Boys and Girls division titles emphatically.
In the events held on January 4, 2026, TI Ahmadiyya Senior High School, also known as Amass, dominated most of the contests at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
Amass won gold in the 100m final before adding the 4×100m relay medal after a series of baton changes turned the tide in their favour.
Ashanti Zone 1 Athletics: Fulera, Hajia Baby Face and 3 rising stars who stole the show
In the Zone 1 200m women’s final, Fulera and Adelaide of TI Amass won the gold and silver medal respectively.
It was the same story in the Boys’ 200m final, where two athletes from TI Amass occupied the first and second positions, clinching gold and silver respectively.
In Zone 1 overall, Amass won both the boys’ and girls’ divisions. In the boys’ category, Amass topped the table, followed by Effisco in second place, Asanteman SHS in third, Osei Tutu SHS in fourth, Aduman SHS in fifth while Mpasatia SHS finished at the bottom.
In the girls’ division, TI Amass once again came out on top. Effisco maintained their second spot, Asanteman SHS placed third, St Monica’s SHS finished fourth, Aduman SHS fifth, and Serwaa Nyarko Girls’ SHS ranked sixth.
Both the boys and girls were awarded trophies for their excellence.
