Dutch player of Ghanaian descent, Memphis Depay, is back in Ghana for the festive season and has been having a good time in the country.

The former Barcelona forward, who now plies his trade in the Brazilian league, was earlier spotted at the Bukom Boxing Arena watching boxing bouts.

On Saturday, December 15, 2024, Memphis Depay, alongside some friends, held a polo event at the Accra Polo Club.

Videos of the event highlight a display of wealth and affluence, with some luxurious cars on display.

The event was graced by some models who made it interesting, with some of them spotted sharing words with Memphis Depay.

Present at the event was the leader of the New Force Movement, Nana Kwame Bediako, who is known to be a great friend of Memphis Depay.

Nana Kwame Bediako was a presidential aspirant in the 2024 general elections and polled 84,478 votes.

Depay’s allegiance to Ghana stems from his father, who is Ghanaian. The former Barcelona forward has been undertaking charity events in the country and visits regularly to monitor the progress of the projects.
