Nineteen players took part in the first training session of the Black Stars

The Black Stars began their training session on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, ahead of their games in the Kirin Challenge Cup.

The players underwent shooting drills and other technical exercises to build their momentum.

Semenyo, Baah Bonsu, and 17 other players were spotted perfecting their finishing by shooting into the goal.

Head coach Otto Addo was seen engaging the players and giving them directions on how to approach the training.

The squad trained under the supervision of the technical team as they prepared for Friday’s Kirin Challenge Cup clash against Japan.

Players in camp include Joseph Anang, Lawrence Ati-Zigi, Derrick Kohn, Jerome Opoku, Ebenezer Annan, Jonas Adjetey, Kojo Oppong Peprah, Caleb Yirenkyi, Alidu Seidu, Gideon Mensah, Abu Francis, Kwasi Sibo, Prince Owusu, Kamaldeen Sulemana, Antoine Semenyo, Brandon Thomas-Asante, Kelvin Nkrumah, and Prince Adu Kwabena.

The Black Stars will hold their final training session at Toyota Stadium in Aichi on Thursday, November 13, ahead of the friendly match against Japan on Friday, November 14, 2025.

Four days later, they will travel to face South Korea in their second friendly of the tour on November 18, 2025.
