A heated altercation broke out between Asante Kotoko players and Nsoatreman FC during their Matchday 19 clash at the Nana Konamansah Park.
In a video shared by Hussein Adams, a fan at the stadium, Kotoko goalkeeper Mohammed Camara was seen punching two Nsoatreman players on the sidelines.
Kotoko captain Justice Blay then joined the altercation, engaging in a brawl with several Nsoatreman players, while home fans threw objects at the visiting team.
At the moment, it remains unclear what sparked the scuffle, which occurred in the second half and led to a lengthy delay in the match.
Once order was restored, the referee sent off both Blay and Camara, leaving Kotoko to finish the game with nine players.
Meanwhile, Asante Kotoko’s official account on X (formerly Twitter) reported that the club’s media team suffered losses, including a damaged laptop and camera, due to the attack by Nsoatreman supporters.
Kotoko lost the game 1-0 as their seven-game unbeaten run came to an end.
