Bahubali’s last fight was against Jacob Dickson
Ghanaians on social media particularly fans of local boxing are mourning the sudden death of boxer Ernest Akushey popularly known as Bahubali.
The sudden death of Bahubali has sent shockwaves through the boxing community, with many taking to social media to share memories of the late boxer.
Before his passing, Bahubali was involved in a high-profile bout that would later become his last appearance in the ring. The bout was against Jacob Dickson.
Jacob Dickson won the bout in question by TKO in the 8th round against Bahubali.
The death of Bahubali comes barely two weeks after suffering from heavy punches in the bout against Dickson at the Bukom Boxing Arena.
Videos of the match have resurfaced on social media, with fans sharing moments from the bout as a way of paying tribute to the fallen boxer.
