    The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, stole the spotlight when he took to the dance floor at the 2025 Millennium Excellence Awards held at Manhyia Palace in Kumasi.

    The captivating moment came as a surprise to many, adding a touch of warmth and charisma to an evening dedicated to recognising outstanding achievements across Ghana.

    Elegantly dressed, the Asantehene joined performers on the dance floor. His graceful steps quickly captivated the audience, who responded with cheers, applause, and a standing ovation.

    In a video shared by Channel One TV on X on May 10, 2025, the guests at the high-profile event appeared to be thrilled at the rare sight of the revered monarch in such a jubilant and engaging mood.

    Asantehene’s dance may have lasted only a few minutes, but it left a memorable impression on all who witnessed it.

    The Millennium Excellence Awards, held under the auspices of His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, celebrated outstanding individuals whose work has contributed significantly to national development and global progress across various fields, including science, governance, academia, humanitarian service and innovation.
