A Manchester United fan in the UK was over the moon after meeting English player of Ghanaian descent, Kobbie Mainoo, who happens to be his favorite footballer.

Ayman, who is a taxi driver in Manchester, UK, was selected by a YouTuber to meet the 19-year-old midfielder, who is tipped by connoisseurs of the game to become one of the sport’s outstanding players in the coming years.

In the video, Ayman spoke fondly of Kobbie Mainoo and why he believes that the youngster is the one around whom the Manchester United team should be built.

An emotional Ayman praised Mainoo for his performance for Manchester United and urged him to keep working hard.

Mainoo, on the other hand, presented a jersey to Ayman and also expressed his appreciation to him for his constant support.

Kobbie Mainoo is currently sidelined due to an injury he picked up during Manchester United’s goalless draw with Aston Villa on October 6, 2024.

In the absence of Kobbie Mainoo, Manchester United have struggled, with the team now 13th on the league table after ten games.

The poor performance of the Red Devils has resulted in the dismissal of coach Erik Ten Hag, who gave Kobbie Mainoo his full Premier League debut in November 2023.

Portuguese coach Ruben Amorim has been selected by Manchester United as the replacement for Ten Hag.
