Nations FC captain Razak Simpson delivered a moment of brilliance with a stunning free kick in his team’s 2-1 victory over Medeama on Sunday, March 16, 2025.
The Black Stars defender opened the scoring with a powerful strike, bending the ball into the top right corner, leaving the goalkeeper with no chance.
Simpson was instrumental in securing the win for the home side before he departed for international duty with the Black Stars.
The Nations FC skipper was named in Ghana’s 23-man squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers. He is one of only three local-based players selected for the crucial doubleheader against Chad and Madagascar.
The Black Stars will host Chad in Accra on Friday, March 21, before traveling to Morocco to face Madagascar on March 24, 2025.
