Police Officers who lose their lives while performing lawful duties are celebrated as fallen heroes.

During the 2025 Memorial Day celebration on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at the Police Training School at Tesano, President John Dramani Mahama was captured on video consoling a woman who broke down in tears during the event.
