    Ghanaian gospel musician, Diana Asamoah, has been captured shedding tears profusely at her late mother’s funeral, which took place on October 25, 2025.

    In a video making rounds online, Diana Asamoah, in a bid to pay tribute to her mother with some songs, broke down in uncontrollable tears.

    Recounting some fond memories in the process, Diana Asamoah said her mother became her source of happiness after she lost her father.

    The ‘Anopa Wim’ hitmaker, who couldn’t hold back her tears while speaking, was then consoled and aided back to her seat by sympathsiers present at the burial ceremony.

    “My mother has left me. My father and mother are no longer alive,” she said.

    The funeral ceremony, held at Kwabre Kasem, witnessed members of the creative arts fraternity, including veteran actor Agya Koo and business mogul Osei Kwame Despite.

    Diana Asamoah lost her mother, Mary Agyei Nnuro, sometime in June 2025.

    The death of Mary Agyei Nnuro was announced by the singer on her TikTok platform.

    Per reports, she passed on at the age of 80, after battling a brief illness.
