Antoine Semenyo continued his impressive form by scoring Bournemouth’s opener in a 2-0 victory over Everton in the FA Cup Round of 32 on Saturday, February 8, 2025.

Coming off a 2-0 defeat to Liverpool which was Bournemouth’s first loss in 12 games, the Cherries were eager to bounce back, and they wasted no time asserting their dominance.

Just 22 minutes into the game, Semenyo was brought down in the box by James Tarkowski, winning a penalty for his side.

The Ghanaian forward confidently stepped up and, without hesitation, rifled the ball into the bottom corner past Jordan Pickford after a quick turn—an emphatic finish that has sparked discussions among fans.

The goal marked Semenyo’s ninth of the season across all competitions and his sixth goal contribution in his last six games, tallying four goals and two assists.

Jebbison Daniels doubled Bournemouth’s lead just before halftime, securing their place in the next round of the FA Cup.
